The film I have decided to create a thirty second trailer for is 'Goldfinger' (1964).
Sean Connery was (arguably) the best actor to portray Bond there has been and 'Goldfinger' was his third performance as the character. This is considered to be the most iconic instalment in the series which has well-known quotes and a famous soundtrack by Dame Shirley Bassey which can all be incorporated to create an engaging trailer.
One of the most iconic moments of the franchise that will hopefully be included is the slow moving laser about to cut through a restrained Bond. It is here where the quote "Do you expect me to talk? No, Mr. Bond. I Expect you to die" is said which could also be included.
The series has many iconic objects which can be modelled in 3D Studio Max such as Bond's Walther PPK handgun, the Aston Martin DB5 and Oddjob's steel-brimmed hat and possibly Fort Knox, which are all part of the story. The Walther PPK model I have created can be found in a previous blog entry.
Good reflection - I have to say whenever I hear the works 'Goldfinger' I immediately think of Shirley Bassey singing the title song. Looking forward to seeing your interpretation of this film
