Keeping with the scene of the laser from an earlier blog post, I wanted to recreate the restraint table that Goldfinger has Bond captive in. This was created by starting with a box, extruding surfaces and tweaking vertices until the frame was made. The rails and the table top are seperate pieces so the materials could be changed easier. After creating much of my models from earlier with seperate pieces, I did find this one easier and more manageable by morphing the shape of just one object.
Because of the amount of highly reflective surfaces, this image makes the model look quite bad in my opinion. I am in the process of animating the laser from before and creating a rendered video in which the table looks much better. Next post is the video...
